How Do We Manage Our Customer ?



Sometimes, customer problem could be frustrating in many ways.
We need them to make money, but the problem is :  
   
  a.  They don’t really interested what we offer. 

      b.  They don’t make us enough money.
      c.  You got only several order. After that, they gone.
      d.  Which customer do we have to prioritize ?

# 1  :  FULL HEART 

Many business neglected customer in many ways, that’s why business doesn’t running well or doesn’t survive at all. 

Like your customer full heart. Find out what they need and they want. Give them added value more compare our competitor.  Example, we doing laptop business, we sell laptop to our customer. We could give for free our customer such as cooling pad, anti-strech layer, free program or something else that they want to receive it because they want and need it. Think it like this for giving added value to our cutomer : “ If I receive the stuff that I will give it to my customer, do I happy to get it ? “ 

So like your customer full heart, BE OUR CUSTOMER, think like them and act like them.

#2  :  CONTACT 

Customer  like plant, if we don’t take care the plant seriously, they going to die, or they gone to be exactly. Are you familiar with this case ? : “one of customer buy product to business A, the product is good, he’s satisfied with it. With no routine contact from business A.  Business B just open with same product, with good routine contact. Who’s business is customer going ? “B” for sure.” Heard this story a lot don’t you think ? 

We are in business, it’s our job to expand networking, if they not interested our product / service, that’s okay. We doing business not only for profit , but good relationship, building better community and so on.  Customer need to be remembered that we are doing business for good. 


So keep them in your reach. Send them a letter, e-mail, phone call, sms, or anything else. We could contact them every weeks or month.  We could check it by ourselves, “every good business doing a routine contact to their customer” Facebook for instance, why so many customer stick to it ? because they keep contact with their customer. Every update in our account, we got e – mail from them. 

Be friend with them. It took a while, but the result is good for long term.

# 3 : PRIORITIZE

We need to prioritize our customer. For simplicity, divide customer in 2 part ( big profit and small profit ). Check in our customer list and how much they spend in our product. Do you know “20:80, 80:20 Law” ? 20 % of customer consist 80% our total turnover, and 80 % of customer consist 20 % our total turnover. The number will not exact as 20 and 80, but this law it’s very strengthen the concept at this point. 

Most business keep prioritize on 80% customer with hope “ they will buy our product soon”. We need prioritize on 20 % first. Give them more added value.  Give them free drink, free product, VIP lounge, or something else that give them feeling “ I am special person, I’m happy doing business with them”
